The Prayer of the Children

So I guess that the whole reason for thins blog is to inform students at UAB about the difficulties that you will face being a music education major!!! I hope to provide insight to those who were like me and are beginning to feel very overwhelmed during the semesters! I am willing to answer questions that you may have and I hope that I can help you to have a good and less stressful experience during your 4(or more) years at UAB!!

1st word of advise is stay on top of everything. The slightest bit that you get behind will feel like at triathlon when trying to catch back up. So trust me get your work done way ahead of time and make sure that you keep things (TEP PORTFOLIO) updated! If you wait till the end of you time at UAB to update your information then you will be under so much pressure to finish and the stress will only increase!!!

Computer Music 1!!

So today wasn't anything great. Normal class schedule of music history, advanced conducting, private voice lesson, and concert choir. It was a bit of a challenge only because today I was trying to recover from food poisoning so my throat was not in the best shape to be singing, but as a music maker my job is pretty self-explanatory so I had to suck it up.
